Hi! I’m Anastasija - yes, I share my name with that one Russian princesses who thought to have escaped the execution (though the spelling comes from Latvia where I was born and hence has a a quirky ‘j’!) and I am :
- interior architect
- design consultant
- and artist passionate about crafting timeless and functional spaces.
With over a decade of experience in the construction industry, I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, from small-scale high end residential homes, award-winning extensions and hospitality projects (@Dualchas & @AndrewBlackDesign) to multimillion-pound commercial and public sector developments (Holmes Miller).
A few years ago, I decided to take the leap and start taking small interior design commissions while working full-time, and it sort of grew from there. This summer, I doubled down on my entrepreneurial journey and co-founded my second brand - as if being a full time mom to a one-and-a-half-year-old isn’t hard enough?!! However, I’ve managed to juggle running projects, managing social media, and overseeing two brands in the past few months and I fell in love with the flexibility and yet challenges it brings.
Beyond my interior design work, I’m also a passionate artist specialising in abstract Scottish landscape and coastal paintings. I recently started taking bespoke art orders and am currently working on my first-ever print collection too! Eek - hope it goes well!
As the co-founder of my second brand @archandaerial, I also wear the hat of a professional architecture/ interiors and property photographer when the opportunity arises. In fact, we are currently running our first ever exhibition with @polestar where our limited edition aluminium prints are displayed and available to purchase - Check bio 🔗
