when we first viewed the property we could see the potential. there is a lot more than this which has been done in here, but we can go over that later!
we originally painted the walls card room green and later decided to repaint (coatpaints - good intentions). we loved the green and would definitely use it again but something just didn’t feel right. we live and learn 😉
panelling was a given, and we decided to add contrast to the skirting and doors (coatpaints - the record store). antique brass fixtures and fittings are used throughout the property.

Knights of the round table ???
So, I've moved the big rectangle dining table & green chairs into the conservatory. Managed to pick up this round table and 4 chairs from FBMP for £170...bargain! ??
This works SO much better in the space now and compliments the shape of the giant bowl pendant ??
When I was reading about round tables, it's actually really interesting when it comes to their functionality in interior design. Obviously their footprint is smaller, so they allow for more floorspace - but back in the day of King Edward & knights of the round table, the idea was that everyone had equality as there is no 'head' of the table. I love that! ??
Also, round tables can create more flow to a space. There are no harsh edges or sharp corners. The circular silhouette feels more balanced and calming to me.???? Full of the facts today ????

Ok so, most of us love a freebie or a FBMP bargain, but I think I'm a self confessed skip rat😂🐀 It's another level of cray-cray 🤪
My neighbour had these dining chairs on their drive about to take them to the tip. Picture this - there I was, peeping out the blinds 👀 OMG furniture!? I legged it next door like a bat out of hell in my slippers. "Oooh good morning neighbor, are you getting rid of these by any chance?"🤣 It was like a scene from Wisteria Lane, except I didn't need to make a trifle or borrow any sugar.
The whole scenario was a win win - his trash became my treasure and he didn't need to take them to the tip anymore.
You know when you get a vision and just know something will work in your home? I'm feeling rather grand in green today with this little dining chair transformation 🩷

So in addition to the suspected "rodent" we may have merrily scurrying around in the loft (God knows what it is - mice, rats, pigeons, flipping racoons ....🙄😂)

We think it's an indoor nest, cause they come out of hibernation in winter when the heating comes on and the tools then think it's ruddy summer!!! I'm just sick, it's like the flipping animals of farthing wood in here. COME ON ANIMALS - COME TO No.33 everyone wants to live here 😡
