Sustainability at the Heart of Industville

Here at Industville, we are proud to call ourselves an environmentally and socially-conscious company. We’ve always worked to ensure our products are built with sustainability in mind. We also take steps to ensure that, as a company, we leave as small a footprint as possible.

If you want to know more about the steps we take to ensure our sustainability, take a look at some of our measures below.

Natural Materials

First of all, all of our products are handcrafted from natural and recycled materials. We use three natural metals throughout our whole range: copper, pewter and brass.

In our factory, we ensure sustainable production methods are being implemented and achieved. We regularly evaluate our production methods to see if they can be made even more efficient, all while keeping that authentic quality that makes our lights so popular.

Our commitment to sustainable materials is also seen in our packaging. We use biodegradable bubble wrap when dispatching our products, while we also use paper tape machines which help boxes be recycled easier.

Products Made to Last

Perhaps just as important as having sustainable production methods are the products themselves. Here at Industville, we’re committed to providing timeless, high-quality lights that are used for many years to come.

Our designers have built a large collection of stunning industrial lights, and our core range is designed to work beautifully with a myriad of styles across all seasons and trends.

The timeless quality of our lights comes from the three core materials we use: copper, pewter and brass. By keeping to this simple, effective formula, we create lighting that can be mixed and matched for a range of styles.

This core design policy also allows for better quality control, ensuring all our lights are made to last. We manage the whole manufacturing process to ensure our designs and materials are in line with our values regarding both sustainability and quality.

It’s this eye for detail that has helped us achieve our ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Valuing Artisan Skills

Sustainability goes beyond products and emissions - it’s also about people. Here at Industville, we work closely with skilled artisans who help to develop our stunning range of lights.

By working with artisans, we can produce timeless products that all have their own character and story. We also ensure the continuation of these timeless trades.

Building Strong Relationships

We don’t just take special care of the people inside our company, however. The team here at Industville believe passionately in building strong relationships with others for the success of everyone. We often choose to work with independent businesses, social projects and co-operatives to help further these causes.
