Hurrah to the extra hour in bed this morning, but hasn’t it been grey and gloomy this week. It makes you realise how imperative lighting is, especially now the clocks have gone back! We often find that lighting doesn’t get the attention it deserves, yet it truly has the power to make or break a scheme.

This Brighton kitchen renovation was designed for balance — between drama and calm. Working with the clients we walked through a number of design interactions.
The striking marble surfaces bring movement and light, while the deep green cabinetry anchors the space with quiet sophistication.
Warm brass accents, reeded glass, and touches of oak add texture and warmth — creating a layered, timeless interior that feels both contemporary and lived-in.
